Blanche Shull received her PhD in Fashion and Textiles from Texas Woman’s University in 1994. She’s had a lifelong love of art and history and a passion for all things related to textiles. Having grown up in SW Louisiana of Cajun heritage, she has a unique understanding of the joie de vie philosophy, including language, food, and music. With humble beginnings, she turned her sewing skills from necessity to artistic expression through her hobbies of quilting, interior decor, and apparel design. She is the mother of four or five and the grandmother of eight or ten. Clarification upon request!

On this Adventure you will spend a week in amazing Provence at a privately owned mountainside villa with Blanche Shull, PhD, quilting, sewing and textile expert. During this week, Blanche will assist you in completing a French Provençal style project ready to quilt. Your completed work will include 3-dimensional technique, as well as embroidery stitches and appliqué methods. Daily excursions to local markets, hilltop towns, gourmet food and local wine all included!
