Home ITINERARY ACCOMMODATIONS  Price and wHAT’S INCLUDED

The perfect break for food and wine lovers. A very interactive week, with lots of wine tasting, delicious gourmet food prepared by your private in-house Le Cordon Bleu-Paris Alum Chef Walter Eagleton, Chateau and market visits, a few cooking lessons as well as time to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Loire valley. Our Adventure is 100% tailored for you and our itinerary based upon first-hand experience. We will also visit local historical sites so you will be able to truly immerse yourself in the Valley of the Kings.

We’ll teach you how to taste like the professionals, introduce you to the basic principles of food and wine matching, as well as get you out and about in the countryside for a beautiful walk among the locals and local historical highlights. We do all the driving, so you can relax and enjoy. This break is the perfect combination of French town and countryside.

Our accommodations for the week are a magnificent and privately owned 19th century Château, situated in the heart of the beautiful Loire Valley. Renovated to a 5 star boutique standard and filled with luxury furnishings chosen by designers in London and Paris, the Château offers individually designed en-suite bedrooms over two floors.  Activities at the Château include an outdoor heated swimming pool, full gym, golf driving range, disc/Frisbee golf, croquet and pétanque.

Our stay was highlighted by waking up each morning to the birds singing outside our room’s window. All the excursions included sights and locations we would never have been able to find on our own and were delightful additions to our daily schedule. The most memorable meals were the picnics created by our hosts which were held in local parks in beautiful locations. The food was great and the whole experience was a lot of fun. Our excursion for a wine tasting with lunch in a troglodyte cave was the most interesting and one of the most unusual stops of the entire trip. Norm and Dana
