The Best of Burgundy and Beaujolais France

Sunday, October 13 – Saturday, October 19, 2024

Sunday, October 20 – Saturday, October 26, 2024

Itinerary

Our day to day itinerary is in development.

We will be enjoying our very own French wine expert as we visit vineyards and tastings. This Adventure is not all about the wine (but it could be). We will be visiting the small towns of the area. This includes a town market, Dijon, where the best mustard is made and many more fun and historical sites.

Each day we will arise to a homecooked breakfast. We will then hop aboard our private transport to different areas highlighting the best of Burgundy and Beaujolais. Lunch out at a local restaurant*, more exploration and then home to a multicourse meal prepared by Paris Le Cordon Bleu Chef Walter Eagleton and his staff. Wine is included during dinner and paired with the meals.

*Lunches out are not included in the Adventure cost

Located in a 70,000 m2 park in the heart of charming Burgundy, the Chateau is a magnificent property dating back to 1571.

The Chateau hosts an impressive seven en-suite bedrooms and offering the most modern facilities along with an amazing range of leisure outdoor and indoor activities.

Surrounded by centenary trees, extensive fields and a private fishing lake, you get the impression of having a kingdom just for yourself.

Tastefully designed and renovated previously by its former Swiss owner,  the château has recently benefitted from the skilled, expert restoration of its current owners. The final outcome is astonishing, with a more than perfect balance between tradition and comfort.

The main features of the property include a gorgeous salt treated, heated swimming pool (11X6m) equipped with an automatic cover. For those who wish to keep fit and relax, there is a luxurious wellness area in the dependences with a Sauna, steam-room and a well-equipped gym.

Amenities include several games such as table tennis, billiard room, play station, chess, board games, volleyball and football areas, bikes and more.

To top it all, the château enjoys extreme privacy, with no neighbours in sight, yet it’s just three minutes away from the gorgeous medieval village of Romenay, where you will find restaurants, shops and other tourist amenities.
