These accommodations are very unique to Brittany. The house is a renovated 16th century “longere” in a countryside setting. The longère is one of the most typical French and Breton property types. It is predominantly a rural property type found in all departments of Brittany. It is traditionally built in a rectangular shape. The name means rectangular shape in French. Large gardens provide plenty of room to enjoy the swimming pool. The house has 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining room. The dining room is south facing with oak tables, beamed ceilings and a large fireplace with wood burner. This room forms the ‘heart’ of the house.
There is a long pergola with tables and chairs for ‘alfresco’ dinners on those long summer nights. The sitting room is on the ground floor . A cozy room offers comfortable sofas and easy chairs it is a great TV room (with English & French channels, video and dvd player). There is also lots of reading material and views over the garden. Perfect for those quiet moments.
Notes on accommodation: Free unlimited WIFI in all the cottages, the terraces, the gardens and by the swimming pool. Outside: 3 acres of gardens. On the south side there is a terrace overlooking the lawns and orchards. The back garden has a large play area 5 m trampoline, badminton net, table tennis, jeux de boules pit, goal, swings, and slide which is fenced as well as a fenced heated swimming pool.
