The Château sits on more than 100 acres of wooded parkland and offers a large outdoor swimming pool adjacent to its own pool house. A 22 acre fishing lake provides superb carp fishing. With its formal and informal gardens, forests with an abundance of wildlife and lake, Chateau de la Loire offers a great selection of outdoor choices.
On the second floor there are the main reception rooms. There is a comfortable and very luxurious Grand Salon that leads onto a terrace where you can take afternoon tea, or enjoy an evening cocktail. This salon has a huge open log fireplace perfect for off season chilly days. Its oak paneled walls and parquet floor create a warm and welcoming ambience. Additionally there is a large paneled Library filled with books where you can sit and read in peace and tranquility. All the reception rooms have great oak shutters.
Our Loire Valley Experience with Artistic Gourmet Adventures surpassed our expectations! Staying in a beautiful French Chateau was undoubtedly a once in a lifetime experience. The schedule for our week was wonderfully balanced with opportunities for authentic wine tastings, scenic picnics, visits to historic sites and time to simply engage and get lost in the French culture.Hosts Kim and Walter Eagleton were very gracious and most attentive to our needs. The Tower Suite is in a separate wing on the fourth floor and decorated in deep blue and amber.

This beautiful room is one of the larger chambers, fit for royalty. Decorated in red stripes and plaid. Large sitting area for romantic evening conversations. Large four poster King bed and an original carved pull out bed. The room is en suite with a full bathroom and a separate make up area with garden views.
